The Pirate Queen: A Night of Succession is an short VR experience which the story of Cheng Shih, a widow who took over her husband’s fleet and became the most powerful pirate of all time.
Directed and produced by Eloise Singer and written by Maja Bodenstein, the game is supported by Creative England and BFI ScreenSkills.
The Pirate Queen has been nominated for multiple awards and won The Discovery Award for Best Debut at Raindance Film Festival 2021.
